GIAD 2024 Recap
Empowering Communities with Aviation Influence, Inc.
The 2024 Girls In Aviation Day (GIAD) Greater Delaware Valley, a Women in Aviation International Event, took place on March 16, 2024, at the Northeast Philadelphia Airport. Aviation Influence facilitated the event involving 12 presenting partners, 35 exhibitors, 150 volunteers, and exhibit personnel. GIAD 2024 was a success, inspiring 400+ youth who learned about aviation and other STEAM careers.
Special thanks to presenting partners: The Boeing Company, Philadelphia International Airport (PHL), Northeast Philadelphia Airport (PNE), Atlantic Aviation, Clay Lacy Aviation, Leonardo Helicopters, Chubb Insurance, Atlantic Cape Community College, Civil Air Patrol, FunD Av Consulting, Pilot Institute, Influential Drones and the Federal Aviation Administration.
GIAD 2024 Mission Accomplished
Our event graphic illustrates the impact and reach we had on our attendees and the Greater Delaware Valley community. We look forward to continue bringing these types of events to the area, for youth to excel and be inspired.
Take FLIGHT at ACY - Postponed
Take FLIGHT @ ACY has been postponed due to worsening weather conditions.
We are currently working with our partners, exhibitors and featured experiences to plan a new date for April 2027. The new date will be announced soon.
This is a postponement—not a cancellation.
We look forward to taking flight with you in 2027!
Our Silent Auction remains open through October 3, with proceeds supporting Aviation Influence scholarships.
