David P. Goodlin Memorial Scholarship Application

Aviation Influence, Inc. (AVi) is proud to announce the David Goodlin Memorial Flight Training Scholarship in memory of David Goodlin. 

Whether it was raising kids, mentoring pilots or teaching sailors, Dave gravitated towards those that showed initiative, accepted a challenge, always came prepared, and those with a good work ethic. It wasn’t those that were the most naturally gifted or always came in first, it was those that overcame obstacles and showed grit that inspired him to further his craft/instruction. 

Eligibility Criteria:

• Show evidence, and in good standing, of student pilot enrollment at a credible school or academy, university/college or flight training facility.
• Show financial need, as demonstrated by essay submission and explanation of need.
• Age 16-22 years old for flight training.
• Show involvement in at least one industry association, such as EAA, AOPA, NBAA, WAI, WCA, etc.)
