Aviation Influence (AVi) is driven by a powerful mission: to open doors to STEAM education and inspire youth through the excitement, possibilities, and community of aviation. Our Ambassador Program creates a welcoming, flexible pathway for passionate individuals who want to uplift the next generation without the time demands or structure of a formal advisory council!

Purpose of the Ambassador Program

The AVi Ambassador Program brings together volunteers who believe in the transformative power of aviation, hands-on learning, and positive mentorship. Ambassadors help expand and strengthen AVi’s outreach, programs, and community impact by contributing their time, skills, and enthusiasm in ways that fit their schedules.

What Ambassadors Support

1. Take Flight with AVi – Hands-On STEAM Outreach

Supporting or helping facilitate custom AVi aviation and STEAM events tailored for industry partner locations, schools, community centers, museums, and underserved regions.
Engaging youth through hands-on stations, project modules, and interactive learning experiences.
Helping AVi grow this program nationally and expand into new communities.

2. Flying Platform & Training Partner Engagement

Assisting with opportunities for youth to engage with flight experiences, simulators, UAS, and partner training resources.
Helping coordinate or support activities when our aircraft or partner platforms are active at events.
Introducing students to career pathways in aviation, aerospace, engineering, and broader STEAM fields.

3. Events & Aircraft Displays

Supporting AVi at community events, expos, conferences, and airshows.
Helping staff AVi aircraft on display and engage with attendees.
Representing AVi with professionalism, energy, and enthusiasm.

4. Scholarships & Membership Growth

Contributing to scholarship review committees or outreach.
Helping expand and promote the AVi Membership Program and scholarship funding.
Supporting initiatives that increase student access to mentorship, resources, and future training opportunities.

5. Education, Mentorship & Speaking Opportunities

Visiting schools or youth programs to speak, mentor, or lead workshops.
Providing relatable role models and sharing personal aviation stories that inspire students.
Representing AVi at aviation or STEAM-related events, summits, or community engagements.

6. Community Awareness & Content Support

Helping showcase AVi’s mission through photos, content, event coverage, or storytelling.
Sharing AVi programming with personal and professional networks.

7. Grant & Funding Opportunity Identification

Helping identify grant opportunities or youth-focused funding that aligns with AVi’s mission.
Sharing relevant network funding connections or recommending organizations, foundations, or individuals who may support AVi’s programming.
Assisting in identifying basic criteria or background information to support future grant submissions or partnership funding conversations.

Ambassador Communication & Engagement

All Ambassadors are invited to join the dedicated AVi Ambassador WhatsApp Group, our real-time communication hub. Through this group, ambassadors will receive:

Aircraft movement updates
Event announcements, locations, and volunteer needs
Opportunities within our flying platform and training partnerships
Scholarship and membership program updates
Calls for support at outreach activities, school engagements, and community events
General AVi news and ongoing ways to stay involved

This streamlined approach keeps ambassadors connected without requiring formal meetings or extensive commitments.

Our Expectations

AVi Ambassadors are positive, community-minded individuals who believe in empowering youth. While there are no minimum hours required, we ask ambassadors to:

Represent AVi with professionalism and integrity
Support opportunities when their schedules allow
Share their passion for aviation and STEAM education
Contribute to meaningful, youth-centered experiences
