Aviation Ambassador Program

Aviation Influence (AVi) is driven by a powerful mission: to empower STEAM education outreach and inspire youth through the excitement, possibilities, and community of aviation. Our AVi Ambassador Program creates a welcoming and flexible pathway for passionate individuals who wish to uplift the next generation without the time demands or structure of a formal advisory council!

Purpose of the Ambassador Program

The AVi Ambassador Program brings together volunteers who believe in the transformative power of aviation, hands-on learning, and positive mentorship. Through this initiative, ambassadors play a crucial role in enhancing AVi’s community impact and STEAM education outreach by contributing their time, skills, and enthusiasm in ways that fit their schedules, thereby amplifying aviation influence in their communities.

What Ambassadors Support

1. Take Flight with AVi – Hands-On STEAM Outreach

Supporting and facilitating the AVi Ambassador Program, which hosts custom aviation and STEAM education outreach events tailored for industry partner locations, schools, community centers, museums, and underserved regions. We focus on engaging youth through hands-on stations, project modules, and interactive learning experiences. By helping AVi grow this program nationally, we aim to make a significant Aviation Influence and expand into new communities.

2. Flying Platform & Training Partner Engagement

Through the AVi Ambassador Program, we assist youth in engaging with flight experiences, simulators, and UAS, alongside providing access to partner training resources. We help coordinate and support activities during events when our aircraft or partner platforms are active. Our mission also includes introducing students to career pathways in aviation, aerospace, engineering, and broader STEAM education outreach.

3. Events & Aircraft Displays

Supporting the AVi Ambassador Program at community events, expos, conferences, and airshows. Assisting in the display of AVi aircraft and engaging with attendees to promote aviation influence and STEAM education outreach. Representing AVi with professionalism, energy, and enthusiasm.

4. Scholarships & Membership Growth

Contributing to scholarship review committees or outreach initiatives. Helping expand and promote the AVi Ambassador Program, which enhances the AVi Membership Program and supports scholarship funding. Additionally, supporting efforts that increase student access to mentorship, resources, and future training opportunities as part of our commitment to STEAM education outreach and expanding Aviation Influence.

5. Education, Mentorship & Speaking Opportunities

As part of the AVi Ambassador Program, I visit schools and youth programs to speak, mentor, or lead workshops. By providing relatable role models and sharing personal aviation stories, I aim to inspire students and showcase the impact of aviation influence. Additionally, I represent AVi at various aviation or STEAM education outreach events, summits, and community engagements.

6. Community Awareness & Content Support

Supporting the AVi Ambassador Program by showcasing AVi’s mission through photos, content, event coverage, and storytelling. This also involves sharing AVi programming with personal and professional networks to enhance our impact on Aviation Influence and STEAM education outreach.

7. Grant & Funding Opportunity Identification

Helping identify grant opportunities or youth-focused funding that aligns with the AVi Ambassador Program and supports our mission. Sharing relevant network funding connections or recommending organizations, foundations, or individuals who may back the Aviation Influence initiatives or AVi’s STEAM education outreach programming. Assisting in identifying basic criteria or background information to facilitate future grant submissions or partnership funding conversations.

Ambassador Communication & Engagement

All Ambassadors participating in the AVi Ambassador Program are invited to join the dedicated AVi Ambassador WhatsApp Group, our real-time communication hub. Through this group, ambassadors will receive:

- Aircraft movement updates

- Event announcements, locations, and volunteer needs

- Opportunities within our flying platform and training partnerships

- Scholarship and membership program updates

- Calls for support at outreach activities, including our STEAM education outreach, school engagements, and community events

- General AVi news and ongoing ways to stay involved in promoting Aviation Influence

This streamlined approach keeps ambassadors connected without requiring formal meetings or extensive commitments.

Our Expectations

AVi Ambassadors are positive, community-minded individuals dedicated to empowering youth through the AVi Ambassador Program. While there are no minimum hours required, we encourage ambassadors to: represent AVi with professionalism and integrity, support opportunities when their schedules allow, share their passion for aviation and STEAM education outreach, and contribute to meaningful, youth-centered experiences.

Getting Involved

We welcome pilots, technicians, educators, engineers, retirees, students, industry professionals, and aviation enthusiasts who are eager to contribute to the AVi Ambassador Program in a meaningful and flexible way, especially in the realm of STEAM education outreach.

To join the AVi Ambassador Program, simply complete the Ambassador Application. Once accepted, you’ll receive onboarding information and gain access to the AVi Ambassador WhatsApp Group, connecting you with fellow Aviation Influence advocates.
